In the cold winter months, I look for simple joys to keep me motivated when it comes to meeting my running and walking goals. The Adrenalines are one of Brooks’ most popular shoe styles for its plush cushioning and excellent stability. We like them so much we deemed them our best walking shoes for arch support. At just $100 a pair, I’m tempted to run (ha!) to grab this deal, even though I swore I wasn’t buying any new sneakers until at least March.
While my personal go-to Brooks shoe is the Ghost or Ghost Max, I recommend holding off on buying them until the markdowns are better, or they have better selection in stock at Amazon. Instead, I suggest opting for the Glycerin GTS 22, which you can get for just $125 right now. I reach for those when I want something for walking around the city. For newcomers looking to try the trusted brand, the Launch 11 is a neutral running shoe that is lightweight and at a lower price than many other Brooks sneakers. Finally, for something with a bit more traction to tackle trails and slippery winter weather, try the Caldera 8 or Catamount 4. Both have grippy soles to handle uneven terrains, but if speed is your goal, grab the Catamounts.
